Beautiful sandy beaches can be found close by at White Park Bay, Portballintrae and White Rocks. Dunluce Castle is about 5 miles away. There are two golf courses within 6 miles. Access to North Antrim cliff path walk and Ulster Way are nearby.

Owners Anna and Archie (photographed April 2011 at their son's wedding)have lived in the North Antrim area all their lives. They renovated and extended the delapidated and uninhabited dwelling in 2005 to a very high standard. Archie's family has farmed the surrounding countryside for the past 100 years. Adjoining fields are used for cattle grazing. At various times of year silage is made and crops harvested. Archie also owns nearby dairy farms and a silage contracting business with his two sons.
